Asia University Veterinary Hospital Mission Statement The Veterinary Hospital was established by the Department of Post-Baccalaureate Veterinary Medicine for veterinary students to learn the practical components of the veterinary profession. The veterinary hospital offers quality animal health care mainly to all staff and students at both China Medical University and Asia University, as well as to the local community. The veterinary hospital also works in close collaboration with Animal Protection and Health Inspection Office to implement government decrees. The veterinary hospital provides clinical care to companion animals such as cats & dogs, wild animals, exotic animals, as well as production animals. The veterinary department has been equipped with many diagnostic equipment and offer advanced treatment options step by step over the years. A detailed list includes an all-in-one surgical theater, Ophthalmic microsurgery instruments, IDEXX ProCyte Dx Hematology Analyzer and Catalyst One Chemistry Analyzer, computed tomography, digital X-Ray machine, laser therapy instrument, endoscope, ultrasound machine, mobile dental unit, electronic weighing scale etc. In the effort to increase the quality of clinical veterinary services, the facility expansion and equipment enhancement will be reviewed by the veterinary department year by year. As it is vital for the veterinary hospital to provide the most advanced veterinary medical care for animal patients and to educate future veterinary medical professionals. |
